The Snapshot Multiclient installer is a utility that comes with the installation of both the EnterpriseOne Deployment server and the E1 Client workstations. It is located in the ...\System\Bin32 directory and is available for all EnterpriseOne application release levels, including EnterpriseOne 9.1.
The main purpose of SnapShot is simply to allow someone to install more than one version of the JDE EnterpriseOne client on a certain machine.

Before upgrading customers might want to consider using SnapShot. This document will describe how to properly use the Snapshot program for use during an EnterpriseOne Application Release level software upgrade to retain the old deployment server setup for applying ESUs and ASUs to the previous E1 application release.
