Last updated on MARCH 12, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

The package definitions that are delivered with a Software Update (ESUs and ASUs)  must be defined as BOTH client and server packages. This procedure will walk you through defining that package.

NOTE: The Package Definitions are delivered by the Software Update install process by default.
However, you have the alternative to NOT have it created by UNchecking  the checkbox for "Creating OMW Project and Package Assembly" located in the [Software Update Environment Selection] form in Software Update Install P96470 application.
