Purpose

This document outlines how to debug a Business Function (BSFN) while it is running on JDE Enterprise Server in Windows NT or 2000 / 2003 / 2008 Server by using C++.

Scope

NOTE1: This information is provided to assist the debug process in Windows NT Server. Debugging on newer Windows server should not change much. This is not intended to be an Oracle supported process.
NOTE2: In the examples/images below, user details / customer name / address  represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the EnterpriseOne test environment).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.


Debugging a business function (BSFN) on any enterprise server requires a high level of skill with 3rd party product, i.e. the server's operating system, debugger tools and the C programming language. This document is written from the perspective that the user is skilled in these areas.
