Purpose
Record Locking APIs in Business Functions
Scope
When updating a record, sometime you need to have exclusive control of the record from the time you do the Select/Fetch until the time you do the Update. To insure that this occurs in your business functions, you use the record locking APIs in C business function. APIs cannot be used in Named Event Rules. This applies to fat client only.
