In this example here, customer is upgrading from JDE EnterpriseOne XE to EnterpriseOne 9.0 applications release level in an AS400 iSeries platform.
In preparation for running Installation Workbench for the Upgrade, the Upgrade Guide - Chapter 6. Working With Installation Workbench / Creating the Job Queue, it states how to set the "maximum batch jobs" setting for the QBATCH queue.
The guide says: "This number must match the TC throttle for your plan. It must be the same or smaller than the MAX ACT on your iSeries JOBQ entry in QBATCH."
The MAX ACT setting on the client's iSeries server is 20.
