Customer upgrading EnterpriseOne Software from Xe to 8.9+ higher application release level.
In the upgrade guides <Document 705521.1>, it asks them to set up I-ACTIVE queue, can you explain the purpose of this queue? And is it mandatory to setup this queue or not?
They already have QBATCH defined for batch process on Enterprise Server, Why does customer still need to define I-ACTIVE?
In EnterpriseOne Xe, if a batch process is called from another batch process, it will use the parent's queue. They don't quite understand how these processes work in E1 8.9+. Can more detailed explanation about that be given?
If this queue is used only for EnterpriseOne Software Upgrade, does customer still need this queue after the upgrade? And why does this queue's name need to be "I-ACTIVE"?
