Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2022

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version SP24 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In this scenario here, customer is doing an Upgrade from JDE EnterpriseOne XE to a higher application release level as EnterpriseOne 9.0. AS400 iSeries platform.
The *MERGE Table Conversion for F0911 scheduled in the upgrade plan ran successfully, but they have a lot of 'garbage' data in the F0911 table - i.e. customer has a 'square' symbol at the end of the data field in the GLKCO column.
Using the E1 XE deployment server, they ran Environment Creation UBE R98403 to get the data off the AS/400 and then re-run the conversion.

Customer would like to know what the TC F0911 *MERGE does as they were planning on re-bringing the data across to a different data source and then copy the data from the XE table to the 9.0 table and skip the conversion.
