E1: TC: Flat File created on AS400 displays non-readable characters when viewed from a Windows shared network drive

Information in this document applies to any platform.
User creates a flat file on the AS400 in the IFS, usually by running a table conversion. When the user maps to this file and attempts to view it from a Windows shared network drive, the characters in the file are displayed as non-readable characters.
