E1: 42: 43: How to Purge the Held Orders Table (F4209) and/or Limit Display in Release Held Orders (P43070) (Doc ID 643117.1)

Last updated on APRIL 09, 2025

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management - Version XE and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

1.  Once a sales order goes on Credit Hold an record is written to the Held Order table, F4209.  Is there a process or a purge program that removes the entries in this table?

2.  In World Software, Release Held Orders (P43070) only displayed orders that were not yet released. In EnterpriseOne, processing options deactivate the display of released orders. Due to the large number of records in the file, the application is experiencing performance issues.  Instead of purging F4209 records, is there a way to improve performance?
