E1: JAS: Unable to Download, View or Open PDF With Internet Browser

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When a UBE has a status of "Done", there is no problem opening the PDF from a FAT client. However, when "View PDF" is selected from "Submitted Job Search" (P986110B application) using an HTML client, one of the following symptoms may appear:
- Nothing happens and no errors being displayed. No response on view PDF button... OR
- A window appears and disappears just as fast and users are unable to capture or read what information is in the window. The user may be able to open it using Mozilla Firefox or previous version of Internet Explorer. As a workaround, if the user holds down the CTRL key during the process, most of the time the PDF opens. This is an intermittent issue with users who are using Internet Explorer 8 and Windows XP .... OR
- Get pop up error says "Unable to download" on Windows Internet Explorer (IE). It is working fine when Oracle Access Manager (OAM) is disabled. Issue occurs only when OAM is enabled on Microsoft IE. Note that when OAM is enabled or disabled, it is working fine on both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
