Goal
This document provides general information on Software Protection Codes (SPC) and where to find details if you need the SPC Generator to generate an SPC code for EnterpriseOne. It also provides a reference to SPC known issues.
NOTE: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 applications release level with Tools Release 8.98 and beyond NO longer requires SPC licensing.
NOTE: Refer to <Document 2063072.1> JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Licensing Disabling Client Licensing for Various Tools Releases (Prior to 9.1.x) for procedures as certain releases of EnterpriseOne, Xe, and ERP 8 will stop working after June 30, 2019 unless preventative measures are taken. Thanks.
