E1 Enterprise server is AS/400 iSeries 820 O/S V5R3 running PSE1 B9 8.93
The XML interop fails intermittently even using the JXML tool. and it is not writing anything into the log file even when debug is turned on
Intermittently an XML Interop request hangs for ten minutes and then the following XML response is returned... 2004-12-15 12:42:10(0.000350) Calling OW 2004-12-15 12:52:11(0.141573) Returned from OW 2004-12-15 12:52:11(0.000374)

Apparently the initial request never reaches the Call Object Kernel as PSFT tables are not updated.
We have since installed the JXML Tool on a fat client at their site and have successfully run the Address Book example in the setup instructions. The Address Book example also intermittently returns with errorReportcode=12.
