E1: OS: Journal or Journal Receiver not Available Error in AS400 JobLog (Doc ID 644714.1)

Symptoms

There is a problem with OWJRNL after moving from V4R5 to new AS400 box with new OS400 in JDE.

The OWJRNL Receiver file was moved from old server to new server and it was 2.7GB big. The AS400 was restarted, but the OneWorld Sub-system failed to start because the OWJRNL journal receiver was not available.

The AS400 system log had the following:

 
The OneWorld Subsystem has been manually stopped and started,  OneWorld is able to start, but is doubtful of the OWJRNL status.  OWJRNL Receiver is still 2.7 GB and growing.
