When we were coexistent with WorldSoftware and OneWorld Xe, we created a custom file that used Data Dictionary Alias CMDS as one of the fields, using AS/400 DDS in WorldSoftware. After ending coexistence, the custom table is now created in EnterpriseOne. However, instead of creating a fixed 256-character table column, EnterpriseOne creates a variable length 258-character table column. Existing CL/400 and RPG/400 programs cannot process the variable length table column unless they are rewritten in CL/ILE and RPG/ILE. Is there a way to get EnterpriseOne to create the fixed 256-character table column instead?
