Symptoms

On an EnterpriseOne 8.11 web client, if you expand a menu, drill down, then click back on the expanded menu, there is a delay of 25 - 30 seconds and then you receive an error message of  "The server is taking an excessive time to process your request. Click "OK" to continue waiting".  
 
If the user clicks OK nothing happens and after a brief period the message reappears. The web client is frozen. You cannot expand any menus, fastpath, etc. Sometimes if the user clicks cancel then it will unfreeze.
