Purpose

There are 2 types of Universal Batch Engine (UBE) Job Completion Messages with different message header descriptions :

1. Default Job Completion Message sent by UBE engine itself 
2. PPAT Job Completion Message sent by Business Functions   

Every UBE submission sends a Default Job Completion message to the user who submitted the UBE job. This can quickly fill the message storage if the number of job submissions is extremely high. PPAT messages may or may not be sent by a UBE ,depending on the design of the UBE.

This document provides details on how to disable the Default UBE Job Completion Message which is sent to the Submitted Jobs queue in Work Center.
