Purpose

Overview

The basic functionality for using Table I/O operations is to be able to read/write data items that are not contained in the Business View for a given form in an application or a section in a report. It allows you to directly retrieve/update a column in any given table. Table I/O allows you to access a table through event rules by calling to the JDB API set so that you do not need to manually code a business function in C code.

You can use the Table I/O button in Event Rules Design to perform the following table input and output (I/O) operations:
