Goal

When attempting to view a Media Object attachment from an FDA Portlet in the Portal you get the following message in the Media Object viewer's iFrame:

The page cannot be found' HTML 404 error

You are able to add all attachment types, but only view text attachments.  In P98MOQUE, the path for HTML Upload is: \\yourdepserver\B9\MEDIAOBJ\HTMLUpload

The Media Object attachment is on the Deployment Server in the following directory: \\yourdepserver\B9\MediaObj\HTMLUpload\FILE-172-16-11-24-14238429095299276-1138938313776.doc

When the attachment is viewed in Media Object Viewer within Portal,  the document is served by the Portal server using the following URL: /wps/PA_1_0_9E/moqueue/yourdepserver/B9/MEDIAOBJ/HTMLUpload/FILE-172-16-11-24-14238429095299276-1138938313776.doc

The URL /wps/PA_1_0_9E/ maps to the install path for the JDE Portlet WAR file: \\yourportalserver\WebSphere\PortalServer\installedApps\WebClient_Portal_PA_1_0_9E.ear\PA_1_0_9E.war

On the Portal server (\\yourportalserver\)  there is no MOQUEUE directory.  It appears that Media Object attachments are served from directories relative to the installation of either the Portlet WAR file (WebClient_Portal.war) for the Portal and the JDE HTML WAR file (webclient.war) for the standard HTML client, and not from the Deployment server.

The following errors appear in the JAS.LOG:
