Client has loaded a large number of sales orders from legacy systems and via EDI interfaces. All of these sales order types are enabled for Transportation and generate shipments. When the sales orders were created in E1, the document types did not have the flag "Standard Pack Recommendation" switched on in Document Maintenance P40040. Also, standard pack recommendations (P460131) were missing for a number of item/branch combinations at time of order creation. As a result, F4615 records for these shipments were either not created or do not have the correct container code (EQTY). The documentation says that the F4615 should be updated when the shipment changes, but neither changing the promised ship date on the sales order or changing ship or delivery dates on the shipment seem to trigger creation or update of the F4615. I have also run R42521 (Packaged Pick Slip) but this does not generate the F4615 either.
