After upgrading from a prior JDE EnterpriseOne application release to newer application release level, clients may find that they have many tables in their system that were created by the upgrade process for conversions. These tables may have a large number of records that are no longer needed and take up database space unnecessarily. This solution explain how to remove these Obsolete Tables after an EnterpriseOne software upgrade.
Customer in process of doing an EnterpriseOne XE to 9.0 upgrade. When we run the data conversion from E1 XE to 9.0 (in place), they are left with some obsolete tables with data in them were used by E1 XE and no longer by EnterpriseOne 9.0, such as in AR and with the Configurator due to these modules has been re-written in newer E1 application release levels. In order to clean the system up, is it OK to delete these obsolete tables and the data?
