I just wanted to verify that Performance Monitor services are not running on my JAVA Server. I have the following section in my JAS.INI.
Does this setting mean that the Performance Monitoring Services are running on my webserver and taking up system resources? If I am not using performance monitor, should this be commented out?
On my enterprise server I have the following in my JDE.INI file, so am I correct to say that Performance Monitor is disabled on the enterprise server and no system resources are being taken up by performance monitor.
I understand that settings in the INI files allow Performance Monitor to run, but if I am currently not running Performance Monitor does something like:
in my JAS.INI file take up system resources? For example loading of this Performance Monitoring server component in to memory? If so, I would comment out this entry. Basically, I dont want to waste system resources.
