Unable to Create New Task on Windows Client

Symptoms


User tries to Insert a new task in Solution Explorer and after clicking OK to save the newly added task in P9000|W9000E, the new task cannot be displayed even on the Windows client. If the user goes to Work with Tasks, they cannot find the new task record.  Why is the user unable to add a new task?
