E1: JAS: Business Functions Fail and Missing Buttons On The Web Client (Doc ID 654339.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to use the HTML (JAS) client, some of the function buttons - such as ADD and DELETE - are not displayed. The JAS.LOG has the following errors:

The OCM mappings for the J-environment being used are correct.  Additionally, the user working with the web client has a role assigned which includes that J-environment.
