Scenario 1 - Unable To Build Client Package - PKGCPY0005 - ERROR: Failed to create directory \\\E811\package_inf for package inf - PKGBLD0003 / PKGINF0119 Errors
In this scenario, customer is in EnterpriseOne 8.11 SP1 application release level. Getting errors while trying to build client package, the Client Package UBE R9621 states "Build completed with errors" and the jde.log has the following:
PKGBLD0003 - ERROR: Failed to Create package directories.
PKGINF0119 ERROR: Failed to update the status in the package inf file.
If you look in the \E811\package_inf folder, you will also see that the pkgname.inf file was NOT created.
Scenario 2 - Package INF Folder Does Not Get Created When Building a Package
Package INF does not get created when building a package usually due to permissions of the user on the folder, however, another issue that causes this problem is if the Release Master and pathcode master are not in sync.
