Symptoms

Your Enterprise server name is 11 characters but you feel it is only using 10 characters.  Some information you have reviewed refers to 15 characters as the maximum, the installer does allow you to enter up to 15 characters for all servers.  You have been using this name since the initial installation of Xe.  You are considering changing to a new server and need to know the recommendation for the machine name length.
