System Code: 76B-Brazil

Symptoms

Nota Fiscal Receipts - Brazil (P4312BR) creates the inbound nota fiscal and calls business function X76TAXB (Tax Calculator for Brazil) to calculate ICMS taxes. However, when the ICMS rate for the supplier is different than the branch plant's ICMS rate, taxes are calculated based on the branch plant (SHIP TO) information instead of the supplier.

Example:
ICMS rule is 18% for the entire company
Category code 30, defined in UDC 76/CN for ICMS substitution mark up for branch plant address book is set up to use 12%, created mark up for 12% ICMS in ICMS Tax Revision (P7608B).

When using ICMS substitution for a supplier that has 18% ICMS, the tax is being calculating as 12% for the address book of the ship to (coming from the fiscal company address book) instead of 18% for the supplier number.
