Information in this document applies to any platform.
This document covers issues when trying to add a new J2EE Container for an Application Server in Server Manager Console. The J2EE containers run the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne web-based server products. They are created as follows:
- J2EE Container for Oracle Application Server (OAS)
- J2EE Server for Websphere (WAS) in the Application Server
- J2EE Server for an Oracle WebLogic Server
Scenario 1: Unable to Add J2EE Container in Server Manager Console
Server Manager installs successfully. Enterprise Server instances are added successfully. Unable to add J2EE containers for HTML Servers running through Network Deployment. An error message appears on screen:
The EnterpriseOne configuration:
EnterpriseOne application release: 9.0
Tools Release: 220.127.116.11
HTML Servers in Network Deployment: iSeries V7R1
Customer needs to be able to start the instances from Server Manager.
