Symptoms

After upgrading to Tools Release 8.97.x from 8.96.x, cannot create J2EE containers for Oracle Application Server through Server Manager. Also unable to start the OAS instance through Server Manager. Below message shows up in Server Manager Agent log:


The managed instance 'OracleApplicationServer' is attempting to establish a JMX connection OPMN cluster MBeanServer using the JMX service URL 'service:jmx:rmi:///opmn://localhost:6003/cluster'.
