This document provides general information on the JD Edwards World to EnterpriseOne Migration
The content for all possible migration paths from JD Edwards World Software releases to EnterpriseOne 9.2 or to EnterpriseOne 9.1 Update 2 applications releases is now included on the Migration Advisor - Upgrade Advisor: Direct Migration from JD Edwards (JDE) World Software to EnterpriseOne 9.2 or EnterpriseOne 9.1 Update 2 <Document 1573164.1>. The new Migration Advisor takes you through the process and steps of migrating from JD Edwards World Software to EnterpriseOne 9.2 or to EnterpriseOne 9.1 Update 2. This will include upgrading the EnterpriseOne code on the Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, JAS Server as well as the database Table Conversions and deploying a Web Development client. The direct migration process simplifies and streamlines customer migrations from JD Edwards World to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne allowing organizations to quickly realize value from Oracles significant investment in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 and 9.1. The information included on this single Upgrade Advisor is pertinent to all customers migrating from World Software releases A7.3, A.92 Update 1, A9.3 Update 1 and A9.4 to EnterpriseOne 9.2 or 9.1.x applications release levels. For customers willing to migrate from World Software releases A6.1, A7.2, A8.1, A.91, or A.92 base to EnterpriseOne 9.2 or 9.1.x, and A9.3 base to EnterpriseOne 9.2, the new advisor also advice them into the correct migration path.
