Symptoms

Scenario 1.  Errors in Call Object and UBE Kernel Logs for User Profiles

Enterprise Server on IBM i on POWER Systems

The following errors are found in the Call Object and UBE kernel logs after upgrading the Service Pack from SP23_F1 to SP23_X1 in a multi-foundation configuration.  Three of the pathcodes are running in multi-foundation: DV, PY and SB (custom) and the issue occurs in all three pathcodes.  The errors are repeated in other kernel logs as well.

PORTTEST finishes successfully although the same errors are in the PORTTEST logs.  UBES are submitted to the Enterprise Server successfully and PDFS are created.

Errors in the Server JDE.LOG file:


User can log in with the new JDE user, it just fails when trying to use it as the startup user. The user has the cncadmin and sysadmin roles and both roles have all environments linked to them. Enterprise Server and Database Server are installed on AIX platform.
