Customers on Tools Releases 8.97 and above may encounter problems with the web batch versions application Batch Versions - Web Versions (P98305W) where jobs will not submit to the server with no error messages or messages such as:
Changes were made to the P98305W that require the latest ESUs that contain the P98305W object (including the Tools Baseline ESU) be installed so that it will function properly with the underlying foundation.
Without the latest code installed for the P98305W, clients have experienced issues with the web batch versions application not submitting UBEs. Here are several existing documents that illustrate symptoms that may be seen:
- When attempting to run the Web Batch Versions application P98305W on the web client to submit batch jobs to the Enterprise Server, the user is never prompted with the printer selection form (W986162B). No errors pop-up for the user and no errors appear in the JAS logs. See related <Document 659422.1>.
- When attempting to run UBEs from the web client the following error pops up on-screen:
COULD NOT LOAD PROCESSING OPTIONS
Please use the latest Java generator to regenerate the form. P98305W_W98305WA_ZJDE0001 See related <Document 823635.1>.
This issue may affect any customers using web batch versions on Tools Releases 8.97 and above in releases 8.11 SP1 and 8.12.
