Purpose

When the Web Development feature is installed on a Development Client machine, there are settings that can be set that will determine how the local database datasource will be defined in the [LOCALWEB] section of the jde.ini on the web development workstation.  This document explains how the setting for “Spec Datasource” in the [LOCALWEB] stanza of the jde.ini gets populated during the web development client install.

Scope

This document is intended for system administrators who will be installing, configuring and troubleshooting the Web Development client.
