E1: KER: Metadata Kernel Fails to Connect With a Primary Security Server When Running on a Secondary Enterprise Server (Doc ID 882764.1)

Symptoms

In the case of an EnterpriseOne implementation with two or more Enterprise servers setup with one acting as the primary Security server, the secondary Enterprise server is started before the primary Security server is started, and the secondary server's Metadata kernel is not attempting to reconnect to the Security server if the first attempt fails. The Metadata kernel fails to run until it is restarted.

The following errors can be seen in the Metadata kernel logs,
