Last updated on MARCH 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CRM Foundation - Version 8.11 SP1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When creating contacts or employees records, sometimes the field EHIER (Who's Who Application Electronic Address -Table F01151) defaults with a value 00 and sometimes with a value 01
00 Informative electronic address

01 Primary electronic address

When the record is set to 01,  employee receives notification on jobs he/she ran and Contacts would receive emails for workflows already set in the system. What we need to figure out is why sometimes we get records with 00 and others with 01 value.

Some findings:
- When entering a contact through any CRM application: Lead, Contact or Customer and adding an email address to it, the default code is 01;
- When entering a contact through Who's Who application, either through address book or through sales orders revise contacts function, the default code is 00.
We would need to change the default codes on all CRM applications to default to 00
