Symptoms
The Print Immediate functionality is not working with a UNIX Enterprise Server and Windows Print Server. If a user selects "Print Immediate" during report submission, the UBE ends in "E" (Error) status. Nothing is wrong with the report, but it does not print.
The report will also not print if the user selects "Print" from Work with Submitted Jobs (WSJ). This report is submitted to an HP-UX Enterprise Server, users are setup with default printers that point to a Windows 2003 print server. The printer is defined as a remote printer on the HP-UX server. lp commands are submitted successfully.
In both of the above cases, the following error is captured in the log file,
