This Java based service enablement product is a statement of Oracle's continued commitment to the JD Edwards World product family. Service Enablement allows you to integrate your JD Edwards World Software with other software packages through the use of Java based web services.
Installation of JD Edwards World has become more than RPG and CL. We use Java components to support User Interface, Electronic Document Delivery, Service Enablement, Transaction Server, and Parameterized URL.
JD Edwards World Service Enablement and Integration Infrastructure have been cited by World customers as one of the foremost compelling reasons to upgrade. JD Edwards World continues to invest heavily to ensure that Service Oriented Architecture using Oracle Technology continues to grow as a sound strategic investment for JD Edwards World customers. Service Enablement allows you to integrate your JD Edwards World Software with other software packages through the use of Java-based Web services.
- Uplift of World Services to Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g
- While we support deployment to IBM WebSphere Application Server, we also support the most current Oracle Fusion Middleware Technology available.
- Update includes 60+ developed Web Services.
- Service Enablement is a gateway for data to travel in and out of World transaction files.
- Utilizes JD Edwards Z file processing standards to ensure data meets all security requirements for accessing World transaction files.
System requirements for World A92 Service Enablement/JD Edwards World A9.2 Minimum Technical Requirements (MTR) <Document 848362.1> You must be on JD Edwards World Release A9.2 Update 1 to utilize our latest release of Service Enablement.
System requirements for World A93 Service Enablement/JD Edwards World A9.3 and World A94 Service Enablement/JD Edwards World A9.4. Certifications: WebSphere Application Server (WAS) versions 7.0, 8.0 & 8.5. WebLogic Application Server (WLS) versions 11 & 12.
