When one user is browsing a Dream Writer (option 5, Cover Page) from the versions list, and another user tries to edit or run the same version; or if the version is scheduled to run as a scheduled job (SLEEPER, for example), a record lock occurs and message RPG1218 is sent to the QSYSOPR message queue. The job waits until the message is responded to.
Another issue was found when an existing version is copied to create a new version. A second record type R (DETY=’R’) is written to the F98301 file. In release A9.3 and higher, the extra R record appears in the versions list (P98300) as duplicate versions.
