Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Sales Order Management - Version A9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using product allocation function of preference master, the following issue occurs.

In case that Quantity Sold  (LAQSLD in F40307) exceeds Quantity Limit (LAQLIM in F40307),  hold information is written in F4209. This is correct. However, the hold code; PA is not set in SHHOLD of F4201. (Sales order header hold code field)

Detail steps to duplicate are follows.

1. Set blank (not use prompt) in #18 of P4211 processing option.

2. Create an sales order. Enter an item number. Then a warning message about PA appears.

3. Ignore the warning. And populate the same item in the second detail line. Then the above PA warning disappears. And PA error occurs for the 2nd line.

4. Cancel the 2nd detail line using option 9. And hit enter key to add the sales order.
