WS: 31: Erroneous Amount for Partial Work Order Issue (IM) Journal Entry After Cost Change (P31802) (Doc ID 2025464.1)

Last updated on JUNE 08, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Shop Floor Management - Version A9.3 cume 1 to A9.3 cume 1 [Release A9.3]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If a standard cost change is done midstream to component(s) of an open work order and partial inventory issues (P31113) have already been accounted for by running the P31802 in final mode, subsequent IM journal entries are generated for the wrong amount and P31802 is miscalculating the accumulated material actual amount (IGCLAT).  This creates an imbalance between Item Ledger/Cardex (F4111) and General Ledger (F0911) entries. Actual Units calculation (IGCLUN) is not affected.

Symptoms are occurring, but not restricted to:

1. Decimal environments where the Data Dictionary item CTS1 (unaccounted units in WO parts list F3111) is set to a number of display decimals (DD) smaller than DD items related to inventory quantity such as TRQT (transaction Units), UORG (Original Units) etc.

2. Multi-Decimal environments with no different display decimals for CTS1 and QTYINV class items.

3. Environments where WO partial material issues are reported and

4. When certain Material cost changes are done in between inventory issues.
