WS: 42: New Lines Added at Shipment Confirmation (P4205) due to Partial Ships Have Wrong Line Number Decimal Place Assignment (Doc ID 2047517.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 13, 2016

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Sales Order Management - Version A9.2 cume 1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the quantity on a sales order line (e.g., line 1.000) is split out to accommodate partial shipments via the Shipment Confirmation program (P4205), the system assigns any remaining quantity to a new line number using the first of three decimal places (e.g., 1.100). This causes the system to encroach on the next whole line number if there are more than 10 shipments against the original line.
