Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2016
Applies to:JD Edwards World Technical Foundation - Version A7.3 cume 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Entering an invalid value of "." (period) next to an error on V0000E (Error Message Display) generates errors RPG0907 (P0000E 36300 decimal- data error in field), MCH1202 (Decimal data error), MCH3601 (Pointer not set for location referenced) and RPG9001 (Error RPG0907 caused program P0000E to stop).
Other invalid values (e.g. numeric such as 1, and alpha such as G) generate "Invalid Selection Requested" message.
Non-numeric/Non-alpha values should generate "Invalid Selection Request" instead of generating a joblog with MCH1202 and a subsequent program dump.
