Using Kanban Consumption (P3157) and Source Type 5 (Branch Plant) to check out a Kanban, the Transfer Order program (P4242) is called. Kanban Consumption (P3157) contains a processing option to identify which dream writer version to use when Transfer Orders are created.
Populating your own Transfer Orders dream writer version in processing option 17 of the P3157, is ignored by Kanban Consumption and Transfer Orders. Therefore, when the dream writer version for Transfer Orders contains a specific document type to be used when creating sales orders and purchase orders, the document types are ignored.
Processing option 17 in Kanban Consumption should call the dream writer version TRANS for the Transfer Order program:
