WS: 45: Preference Hierarchy Does Not Work Correctly When Set At Lower Levels (Doc ID 2166563.1)

Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Advanced Pricing - Version A9.3 cume 1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The preference hierarchy does not work for customer and customer group correctly. P4210 applies customer price group level adjustment even if same is set up at lower level as compared to customer level adjustment in preference hierarchy. For example :

Let say price adjustment is set up at customer level and customer price group level both such that customer is at level 7 and customer price group is at level 8 in the preference hierarchy.

In such scenario, P4210 applies the price adjustment of latter that is customer price group's adjustment instead of customer's adjustment.
