WS: 01: F1 Search Not Available When Calling P01200 Recursively (Doc ID 2197967.1)

Symptoms

On : A9.4 version, Address Book

In release A9.1 and forward, the F1 search functionality is not working the same as prior releases when accessing Customer Ledger Inquiry (P032002), Supplier Ledger Inquiry (P042003), etc. through Address Book Name Search (P01200). This functionality did work as of release A7.3. It appears the issue occurred once the F1 key stopped calling P01NS and started calling P01200.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. From men G01, select option 2 for Name Search
  2. In the Option field enter a 2 to go to Customer Ledger Inquiry
  3. From Customer Ledger Inquiry (P032002), F1 on the Customer Number line
  4. No errors are given and the system does not go to Name Search
