Last updated on JULY 24, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Fixed Assets - Version A9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Journal Entry is entered to an asset cost account with a subledger/subledger type (the cost object account captured in the FX*, FC*and FA* AAIs), with the Asset ID/Serial Number field (GLASID) blank, and
P12800 used to post and create an asset master record automatically, the associated F1202 records are created incorrectly and inconsistently. In some instances, the depreciation start date is blank. In another instance the depreciation start date is wrong, and in another instance, both the life months and the depreciation start date are wrong.  Additionally, F1202 subledger records are not created for any tax ledger(s) or user defined ledger(s).
