WS: 31: Incorrect Unaccounted Units (CTS1) For Unplanned Item Issues From Multiple Locations (P31113) (Doc ID 2227710.1)

Last updated on MARCH 10, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Shop Floor Management - Version A7.3 cume 12 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Unplanned work order (WO) issues are reported for the same item in two different locations, different quantities, 2 and 10. However, after P31802- Manufacturing Accounting is run, the program is creating two identical IM journal entries using the same quantity and amount as for the first location issued for both. In this example, both IM are for 2 units value.
It is expected that the first transaction to be for the value of 2 units and and the second IM transaction should be for value of 10 as transacted during Work Order Issues, because:

When components are issued to a work order, an IM entry is created in the Cardex (F4111) for the material issued to the work order. The Transaction Quantity (WMTRQT) field in the F3111 (work order parts list file) is updated with the quantity issued. This field is cumulative and is never cleared. And, the Unaccounted Units field (WMCTS1) is updated. CTS1 stores the cumulative quantity for which accounting (P31802) has not yet written journal entries. When run in final mode, P31802 clears the unaccounted units field and accumulation begins again. When Manufacturing Accounting (P31802) is run to create journal entries, it uses the CTS1 quantity to multiply by the frozen standard cost in the F30026 to generate the value of the IM journal entry.
