WS: 12: Batch Export With Compute Depreciation (P12850) Fails (Doc ID 2234187.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2017

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Technical Foundation - Version A9.3 cume 1 and later
JD Edwards World Fixed Assets - Version A9.3 cume 1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On JD Edwards World release levels A9.3 Update 1 and above the Compute Depreciation program (P12850) fails to export successfully regardless of file name (e.g., .txt, .csv, etc.).  A joblog with message "Record in file R12850 truncated at end of line" is generated.  The issue occurs when the version of P12850 being run contains The Spooled File Export Parms set correctly, and the Alternate Format with Enlarged Amount fields processing option is set with 1 (required to use export functionality).  The R12850 spooled file is generated, but export fails.
