WS: 42: Is There a Flag that Controls Line Number Increments for New Order Lines Created when Partial Shipments Occur? (Doc ID 2310384.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

When the Shipment Confirmation (P4205) and/or Inventory Commitment programs (P42997) split sales order lines due to partial shipments, back orders and/or different pick locations, the line number increments are inappropriate when the line is split more than nine times. For example, if a particular sales order contains lines 1.000 and 2.000, and line 1.000 splits once, the new line is assigned line number 1.100. If it splits twice, the new line is assigned 1.200. if the line splits more than nine times, the tenth new line is assigned line number 2.100, even though line 2.000 contains a totally different item.

Is there a flag somewhere that controls the line number increments when a sales order line splits?
