WS: 42: No Price Adjustments When Sales Order Line Released from Multiple Blanket Orders in Release A9.4.1 (Doc ID 2351478.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2018

Applies to:

JD Edwards World Sales Order Management - Version A9.4 and later
JD Edwards World Advanced Pricing - Version A9.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When you create a new sales order via Order Entry (P4211), and enter a stock line item with an order quantity greater than one, which you then release from two different blanket orders, P4211 splits the sales order line into two different order lines (line numbers 1.000 and 1.001) to accommodate each blanket order. If both blanket orders contain price adjustments, the Price History flag (SDSO09) is set to blank for the second line (l1.001) on the sales order. In turn, you cannot view the price adjustments in the Price Adjustment History Window (option 11 from P4211 - V4074W) for the second line, and the appropriate journal entries are not created at Sales Update (P42800). The price history records (F4074) are created properly for the order line though SDSO09 is blank.

The issue occurs in the World A9.4.1 release.
