WS: 09: Error 0168 Fiscal Year Not Set Up on T/B By Business Unit (P09210), T/B By Object Account (P09214) and Account Balance by Month (P09213) (Doc ID 2366122.1)

Symptoms

The current year date pattern has beginning date of 12/31/17.

Use inquiry program T/B by Business Unit (P09210) or T/B by Object Account (P09214) to pull in data.  Enter a 2 in front of an account with a balance and error 0168 Fiscal year is not set up is received. Same issue when inquiring directly from Account Balance by Month (P09213).

With a beginning date of 12/31/11 in company numbers and names it will display error 0168 from P09213 when inquiring on FY 11. Please note this error did not appear until FY 12 was set up. Last year FY 11 was ok.

NOTE: The issue is not specific to FY11. The issue occurs when a fiscal date pattern is set up where the Begin Year date is in the same year for two different fiscal years.
For example, fiscal year 24 begins on 01/01/24 and fiscal year 25 begins on 12/30/24, error 0168 is issued when inquiring on FY24.

 

Changes

 Upgrade to A9.2 or A9.3.
